Details

The prized Arabica coffee beans from the Alta Mogiana region of Brazil, will be perfect for milk coffees such as lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, made in espresso machines, coffee machines and automatic coffee makers. The kraft roasting method emphasizes the delicate notes of chocolate and nuts, so it will be perfect for daily drinking coffee. Brazil Mogiana beans have been produced for generations by the Moscardini family on farms near the town of Franca, close to the border with the state of Minas Gerais. In our roast profile, the coffee is characterized by low acidity and high flavor balance. You will find dominant notes of cocoa, milk chocolate and hazelnut. This is a coffee we particularly recommend for automatic coffee machines and milk coffees. Why did we choose them? We wanted to introduce a classic bean from Brazil into the range, where our customers could find the typical sensory profile of the Coffee Country. Brazil Mogiana fit perfectly into our expectations. It is a coffee characterized by almost no acidity, high sweetness and a distinct body. The sensory profile is primarily cocoa, but also includes notes of hazelnut and milk chocolate. Mogiana provides a long, elegant and chocolatey aftertaste.

How is it profiled? What do we particularly recommend it for?

We wanted Brazil Mogiana to represent a Brazilian classic in our range. That's why we profiled it to maximize the natural sweetness of the grain and offset the acidity. Our Brazil Mogiana will work well in a café, a cob machine, as well as in an automatic machine. And while it's great as a base for coffee with milk, lovers of small black coffee should also appreciate it. Where does the grain come from? The beans of the Mundo Nuovo botanical variety are grown in the state of Sao Paolo, where coffee plants grow at an altitude of 800-1200 meters above sea level. Mogiana is named after the railroad company that built the railroad in 1883. It allowed the expansion of coffee production in the region. Harvesting here takes place between May and September. Our beans have undergone natural processing.
